Dear colleagues,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to join CCI 2019, an annual meeting of the Chinese College of Interventionalists (CCI), to be held from April 18 to 21, 2019 at Nanjing International Youth Convention Center, Nanjing, China.

Having a community of approximately 15,000 of “interventionalists” in China, CCI has proudly become the society covering all specialists who perform interventional procedures in China. The past CCI 2018 proved the enthusiasm of more than 6,000 attendees for the career of interventional radiology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, cardiology, GI, oncology, etc. The positive feedback gives us confidence to hold a bigger and better meeting of CCI 2019.

CCI 2019 will be continuously focusing on new IR techniques and practice, education and training, and exhibition of IR products for all fields of IR. The topics of IR include interventional oncology, interventional cardiology, endovascular interventions, neurointerventions, endoscopic interventions, nursing in IR, innovation of IR devices and drugs, etc. Besides the above topics, CCI 2019 will have new subcommittees with the sessions on GO and paediatric IR, respiratory IR, pain IR, etc. Over 1,000 invited lectures will be presented by domestic and international interventionalists, including delegates from SIR, CIRSE, GEST, APSCVIR, SIO, and SGI, etc. Approximately 10,000 participants are expected to show up at CCI 2019.

Nanjing is an ancient and beautiful city located along Yangtze River in China. As the former capital of China and present capital city of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing represents many of the 3000-year Chinese history. Spring in Nanjing is the season for sprouting, and it can be the time to let IR shine.
